Trade-in conditions

At Versus, you can easily trade in your equipment for the latest gear. To ensure this process runs smoothly, we follow these rules:

Staat van het materiaal

• Transparency: Any damages or defects must be reported in advance.
• Repairs: Costs for repairing unreported defects will be charged to the trade-in after an accepted quote.
• Completeness: Materials must always be submitted including the original bag.
• Inspection: Upon intake, we perform a quick check of your trade-in product(s). A detailed inspection will follow within 21 days. Repair costs for any unmentioned defects are the responsibility of the trader.

Product-specific rules

• Kites: A kite with a bar can only be traded in when purchasing a new kite including a bar. The trade-in is 1-for-1.
• Kiteboards: The trade-in price is based on board + pads. Kiteboard without pads? You will still receive a nice custom trade-in deal from us!
• Type: Exotic models (e.g. 1-strut or C-shape kites) have a low residual value. You will still receive a nice trade-in price from us!
• Wings: The trade-in wing must be at least 4m² and of a similar size to the new wing. For a larger size (from +1m), the price difference will be adjusted.
• Harnesses: Must be in safe condition and a maximum of 5 years old (model year). Only valid with the purchase of a hardshell with hook.

• Brands Kite: Reedin, Ozone, North, F-One, Slingshot, Airush, Core, Flysurfer, Cabrinha, Naish, Duotone and Harlem.
• Merken Wing: Ensis, Vayu, Naish, North, Duotone, Armstrong, Reedin, Flysurfer, F-one, Ozone, Cabrinha.
• Your brand not listed? No worries, we are happy to create a great custom deal!
• Note: Different prices apply to discounted or second-hand items or exclusive materials (such as Aluula or Brainchild). You will always receive a good trade-in price!
